IQOS Terea Purple Wave Italy

IQOS TEREA Purple Wave Italy is a heated tobacco stick designed exclusively for the IQOS ILUMA range. It combines a tobacco blend with deep menthol cooling and dark forest-fruit aroma notes, creating a flavor profile that brings together tobacco richness, cooling freshness, and berry-inspired character. IQOS describes Purple Wave as a rich and satisfying tobacco experience.

Unlike conventional cigarettes, TEREA sticks are designed for a heated tobacco system rather than combustion. They are used with IQOS ILUMA devices, which use the SMARTCORE induction system. TEREA sticks should not be used with older blade-based IQOS devices.

What Is IQOS TEREA Purple Wave?

TEREA Purple Wave is part of the flavored TEREA range created for IQOS ILUMA. Its main flavor character combines a tobacco base with menthol cooling and forest-fruit notes.

The Purple Wave profile can be described through three main elements:

Tobacco Base

The underlying tobacco blend provides the characteristic tobacco taste expected from a TEREA stick. It gives the experience a richer foundation rather than making the flavor purely fruit-based.

Menthol Cooling

Purple Wave includes a noticeable cooling sensation. The menthol component adds freshness and helps balance the deeper tobacco notes.

Dark Forest Fruit Notes

The distinctive element of Purple Wave is its dark forest-fruit aroma. These berry-style notes complement the menthol and tobacco combination, giving the stick its recognizable purple-themed flavor identity.

Purple Wave Flavor Profile

Rich Tobacco Character

Purple Wave maintains a recognizable tobacco foundation. The tobacco notes provide depth while the additional flavor elements create a more aromatic experience.

Cool Menthol Finish

Menthol provides the cooling component of the blend. Compared with tobacco-only varieties, this gives Purple Wave a fresher character.

Forest Fruit Aroma

The forest-fruit element is the most distinctive flavor feature. IQOS describes the profile as indulgent dark forest-fruit aroma nuances combined with deep menthol cooling.

How to Use TEREA Purple Wave With IQOS ILUMA

Using TEREA Purple Wave is straightforward when paired with a compatible IQOS ILUMA device.

Step 1: Prepare the IQOS ILUMA

Make sure the device has sufficient battery charge before starting.

Step 2: Insert the TEREA Stick

Insert the TEREA Purple Wave stick into the holder according to the device's instructions. Do not twist or force the stick into the holder.

Step 3: Start the Experience

Activate the IQOS ILUMA device and wait for the heating process to begin. The device heats the tobacco rather than burning it.

Step 4: Use the Stick

Once the device indicates that it is ready, use the stick normally. After the session is complete, remove the used stick and dispose of it appropriately.

TEREA sticks are specifically engineered for IQOS ILUMA's SMARTCORE system. IQOS advises against using TEREA with previous IQOS generations because this can damage the device.

TEREA Purple Wave vs Other TEREA Flavours

Purple Wave has a different profile from several classic TEREA varieties.

Purple Wave vs Amber

TEREA Amber focuses more strongly on toasted tobacco with woody and nutty aroma notes, while Purple Wave introduces menthol cooling and forest-fruit character.

Purple Wave vs Turquoise

Turquoise combines a lightly toasted tobacco blend with crisp cooling and subtle zesty notes. Purple Wave also has cooling, but its defining secondary character is dark forest fruit rather than citrus-like freshness.

Purple Wave vs Blue

TEREA Blue is characterized by deep menthol combined with tobacco and minty and creamy vanilla notes. Purple Wave instead emphasizes forest-fruit aromas alongside menthol.

Why Choose IQOS TEREA Purple Wave Italy?

Purple Wave may appeal to adult TEREA users who prefer a combination of tobacco, cooling and fruit-inspired aromas.

Important Compatibility Information

One of the most important points when purchasing TEREA Purple Wave is device compatibility.

TEREA sticks are designed for IQOS ILUMA devices. They should not be used with earlier IQOS models that rely on a traditional heating blade. IQOS specifically warns that using TEREA and IQOS ILUMA with previous generations can cause device damage.

Always check your device model before purchasing TEREA sticks.

Storage Tips for TEREA Purple Wave

Store TEREA Purple Wave in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat and moisture. Keep unopened packs in their original packaging until needed.

The sticks should also be kept away from children and pets. Do not open, modify, dismantle, or ingest TEREA sticks. IQOS states that the sticks contain a metal component that can cause serious injury if swallowed.
